The spikes are not shown in the patent but are placed inside the frame to grasp the cork for turning to break the seal. The tool goes through the handle and a 1 1/2” slotted bar slides into a recess in the top and engages the groove on the tool. Tools are hammer, pliers, screwdriver, awl, punch, and corkscrew. One tool is missing. Marked D.R.G.M. 1903 German design registration number 208010. Produced by Hugo Berger. The case is damaged on the ouside as shown and one hinge for the top is missing.
