Welcome to the 2015 ATPCO Global Conference. This year is a significant milestone for us as we
celebrate our 50th anniversary. We are pleased to have so many of our customers, friends, and
colleagues from across the globe here to help commemorate this achievement. Your continued support
has helped to grow and define ATPCO over the years, and we are grateful for your contributions. During
the conference, we will take some time to reflect on our rich history, discuss with you what we are
currently working on, and share our vision for the future.
These next few days will highlight many of our current and upcoming projects, in addition to presenting
many opportunities for you to provide input and feedback. Our sessions will include
• Fare Management and our solutions to help streamline the contract process
• Data Distribution and the perceptions of New Distribution Capability (NDC), including a discussion of
the ways ATPCO is currently supporting dynamic pricing
• Revenue Accounting and the examination of the next generation of interline settlement with our
concept of coupon value at the time of fare creation
These are just a few of the topics we will cover this week. Additionally, our Knowledge Centers will focus
on some of our fundamental themes: empower airline retailing, maintain distribution excellence, and
improve workflow efficiencies.
At the end of the week we will have our Products and Services Alignment Session, where we will explore
new business opportunities and define how we will work together as an industry to address the next set
of industry needs.
Once again, thank you for commitment to ATPCO and for the insights and ideas you provide to help us
realize our mission in support of the industry. From all of us at ATPCO, welcome!

Fare Management: Streamlining Contracts
Negotiated contracts and private fare deals are a significant source of revenue
for most airlines. The volume and complexity of these deals continue to increase,
creating challenges with accuracy and speed to market. We will explore the past,
present, and future states of contract distribution; identify the pain points; and
see how streamlining the process could address current challenges and enable
additional opportunities.
Data Distribution: NDC Made Easy
Explore how ATPCO is working for the industry to make NDC easy. Whether
beginner or advanced, airline or system, you can learn from ATPCO’s Director
of Data Distribution Graham Wareham and Managing Director Tom Gregorson
how ATPCO is working for you. They’ll discuss the ways ATPCO is building the
facilities to integrate NDC into the existing industry infrastructure. This session will
explore how the industry can expand the NDC discussion to take into account
other functions of fare filing, such as stimulating demand, supporting analysis and
intelligence to allow for smart business decisions, and protecting revenue.
Revenue Accounting: Coupon Value at the Time of Fare Creation
Have you ever wondered why you need to wait until after products are sold to
determine the effectiveness of a fare initiative? Ever found that after interline
settlement with your partners, you’re left with a smaller share of funds than
you expected? Imagine the next generation, in which you can file and manage
coupon values alongside your fares, view all possible journey permutations,
and incorporate this data into your fare management and revenue accounting
processes. Imagine no more, as ATPCO shows you the reality of the next
generation of coupon value determination.
