In Memory of Carol Tatum
Carol Tatum founded Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy in 1982. Combining a love of horses with a strong desire
to help the disabled community, Carol was a gifted therapeutic riding instructor and an inspiration to all around her.
In 2005, Carol passed away, losing her battle with breast cancer.
We wish to honor her memory by continuing her legacy.

Established in 1982, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy is a 501(c)3
non-profit organization in Philadelphia, PA dedicated to providing
therapeutic horseback riding programs for children and adults with
physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities.
Through innovative equine-assisted programs, Pegasus seeks to improve
the quality of life for our program participants and their families. Each year,
Pegasus provides over 4600 joyful lessons to our extraordinary riders.
