St. Joseph the Worker Announces Grand Opening of
the Maryvale Community Success Center
St. Joseph the Worker and Chicanos Por la Causa’s (CPLC) have
developed a partnership to combine each agency’s expertise
and experience, with St. Joseph the Worker providing its proven
employment program on a daily basis at CPLC’s Maryvale
Community Center (MCC) located at 6850 W Indian School
Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85033.
St. Joseph the Worker is seeking to fill the following
volunteer opportunities at the MCSC:
Center Facilitator
Help with basic center tasks such as welcoming clients,
copying, filing, data entry, organizing, stocking and other
general support.
Resume Writer/Computer Assistance
Aid a successful job search by creating and editing
resumes, cover letters, and by helping clients search for
jobs online, assist in filling out online applications and/or
assist with set-up of e-mail accounts.
Job Readiness Workshop Instructor
Job Readiness Workshop teaches new clients about all
facets of job searching including: attitude, applications,
resumes, interviews, dressing, reporting backgrounds, and
employer relations tips.
Assisting homeless,
low-income, and
other disadvantaged
individuals in their
efforts to become
self-sufficient
through quality
employment.

Monday thru Friday 8:30am-12:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday 1:00pm-3:30pm
Volunteer Requirements:
Must be 18+
HR experience or Business background
Bi-lingual Preferred
