December 2015
IT’S TIME AGAIN TO REMIND YOU ABOUT THE SNOW REMOVAL RULES
SECTION 107 - VEHICLES, PARKING & DRIVING REGULATIONS
107.11
During the winter months, residents must move their vehicles as
necessary for snow removal by the Maintenance Department. The
following schedule has been determined for snow removal from parking
areas. The drivers of the trucks plowing the snow will honk their horns to
notify you that they are attempting to plow your parking area.
YOUR COOPERATION IS REQUIRED.
107.11(a)
Members living in even addresses (i.e., 31008, 15608, etc.) will have their
parking areas plowed between 9:00 am and 12:00 NOON. All cars must
be removed from the parking areas before 9:00 a.m.
107.11(b)
Members living in odd addresses (i.e. 31125 15819, etc.) will have their
parking areas plowed between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. All cars must be
removed from the parking areas before 1:00 p.m.
107.11(c)
The only exception to this rule will be those areas of Darby Lane that have
parking on one side of the street only. These parking areas will be plowed
in the afternoon, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm with the odd addresses.
107.12
Residents not moving their cars during the appropriate time periods for
snow removal may have their vehicles towed away at the owner’s
expense and receive a $50.00 Administrative Enforcement Fee.
107.13
Residents or their guests having inoperable vehicles in the parking areas
during snow removal will also be subject to having their vehicles towed
away at the owner’s expense and receive a $50.00 Administrative
Enforcement Fee.
If you do not have a Hanover Grove parking decal in your rear window
and you have not complied with the above rules we will have no way to
notify you and you will be towed away at your expense!
ATTENTION RESIDENTS — SNOW SEASON IS ON ITS WAY
107.18
No vehicle shall be parked in any Hanover Grove parking area at
any time throughout the year, so as to overhang the edge of the
sidewalk, impede travel on the sidewalk or prohibit maintenance
of the sidewalk. This includes all visitor and assigned parking
areas. This also includes all days of the year.

It’s that time of year again. All service animal registration forms expire on December 31, 2015.

If your service animal is a dog, you will also need to get a 2016
Macomb County license and dog tag.
All registration forms, license’s, and dog tags must be brought to the office no later than
Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
Bring your animals as well, so photos can be taken for the file!
Anyone not complying will receive a fine, and you may jeopardize keeping your service animal.
WATER SPIGOTS
Residents who have outside water spigots MUST TURN THE WATER SUPPLY
OFF in their basement. There should be a green tag on the shut off valve
which was placed there by our Maintenance personnel. This must be done to

5 russet potatoes, peeled
and quartered
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sour cream
Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
Cornbread Crust
1 (12– oz) boxed

DIRECTIONS:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the onion in vegetable oil. When the onion is soft
add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon and brown. Stir in tomato sauce and
mixed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
In a pot of boiling water, cook the potatoes about 20 minutes or until fork tender. Drain well and
return to the pot. Whip the potatoes with an electric mixer until moderately smooth. Add milk,
butter and sour cream, mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Adjust consistency with more
milk, if needed.
Follow directions on box to make cornbread batter.
Lightly grease 6 (8 0z) ramekins with nonstick cooking spray.
Spoon the mashed potatoes into the bottoms of each prepared ramekin, spreading them evenly
with a rubber spatula. Then add the meat filling, spreading that evenly over the mashed potatoes.
