Bob the Tomato Larry the Cucumber Junior Asparagus
A NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES KNOW YOUR VEGGIES! Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Laura Carrot, Junior Asparagus and the whole veggie crew star in VeggieTales In the House, a brand-new Netflix original TV series premiering Nov. 26, 2014!. So, there’s never been a better time to know your veggies (and here’s a quick look at the unforgettable veggie cast): Bob the Tomato Bob is a practical tomato, confident and poised in the midst of so much silliness. He loves order, structure and being the “teacher.” His less-than-perfect moments are more “awkward” than silly. Sometimes seen as the grumpy, “no-fun-allowed” guy, his heart is always in the right place and Bob really cares about everyone, especially the kids. Larry the Cucumber Larry is the silliest, unpredictable, most optimistic cucumber you will ever meet. He loves comic books, sardines and pet lobsters, and will sing a silly song at the drop of a hat. Never mean spirited or unkind, Larry is fun-loving, playful friend and has a heart of gold. Larry always finds time in life to stop and smell the grape soda. Junior Asparagus He’s sometimes wide-eyed but mostly wise for a five-year-old! Junior made his debut in the very first VeggieTales show, Where’s God When I’m S-Scared? Since then, he has played key roles, exemplifying an adventurous, yet impressionable, young veggie who shows kids that “little guys can do big things, too!” Laura Carrot As Junior’s best friend, Laura came on the scene during the show Rack, Shack & Benny. She tends to be a bit more cautious than Junior, but isn’t afraid to get into some mischief now and again – she’s the voice of reason with a little spunk added in for good measure! Archibald Asparagus A proper British gent, Archibald prefers stoicism to silliness. Archibald’s top first got ruffled in a series of Silly Songs before he went on to star as “Alfred,” the proper butler and brains-behind-the-clueless-hero in the LarryBoy shows. Jimmy Gourd & Jerry Gourd The Gourd brothers have appetites as big as their hearts, as they first proved during their memorable appearance in The Gourds Must Be Crazy when they ate an entire popcorn meteor and saved the U.S.S. Applepies from certain doom. Jimmy and Jerry are also famous for unforgettable lines such as, “Does anybody have any fried chicken? I’ve got a real hankering for fried chicken!” Petunia Rhubarb Petunia first appeared as the slightly shy, slightly tongue-tied princess who caught Larry’s attention in Duke and the Great Pie War. Petunia’s charm and wisdom outshone her tendency to be a bit clumsy as she gave her all to being Larry’s sidekick in the Minnesota Cuke adventure stories. In her first starring role, Petunia brought life to the character of “Sweetpea Beauty,” showing girls that being beautiful is all about having a beautiful heart. Madame Blueberry She’s all about high society and manners. Madame Blueberry loves to sing and appreciates the finer things in life, but also has a sensible, motherly side. She can be the boss, but doesn’t have to be, and everyone loves her just the way God made her. VeggieTales In the House premieres Nov. 26, 2014 exclusively on Netflix! Phillipe is slightly rude, though oblivious to this fact most of the time. Jean Claude is the sillier, gentler pea. They are almost inseparable and make a great team. www.veggietales.com
