WEEDO 17 SOLAS
Weedo 17 Solas is especially designed to meet the requirements of chapter 11,
regulation 47 in 1983 amendments to Solas. The boat is suitable for use on all
commercial ships; fishing vessels, supply vessels, standby vessels and oilrigs.
Weedo 17 Solas is manufactured in FRP and built in accordance with the Solas 83 amendments. The craft is fitted with a heavy-duty foam fender system that is enhancing the
usefulness of a mob-boat this size.
The craft is fitted with one outboard petrol engine and hydraulic steering system. The cockpit in the centre of the boat has seating for a crew of two. The hull is filled with a closed cell
foam that makes the craft unsinkable.
The craft is is type approved up to 6 persons, with a CE certificate acc. to Solas 83, nominated body: DNV, in addition it has a type approval from NMD.
The Weedo 17 is available with a number of engine combinations: single installations up to
90 HP and double installation up to 2 x 60 HP..
