parish designed the two kilometre long
“Reformation – on the way” route.

The Magdalenaberg Church was built in the
Gothic style. In the 600 years of its existence it has been rescued from deterioration
on many occasions and is now considered
to be a landmark of Bad Schallerbach.

the Europa Square to the church.

The former spa gardens were transformed
into a unique oasis of relaxation for the
“Botanica 2009” horticultural show and
are both stimulating and sensual. Paths that
have been tailored for wheelchairs invite
you to walk through the gorgeous park landscape with its water features, meditation
gardens, water lily ponds, mazes and great

The Vitalwelt cycling path network covers more
than 300 kilometres of well signposted cycle
paths. Its seven varying connections between
the Trattnach cycle path in the North and the
Innbach cycle path in the South enable you to
plan individual routes.
7 paths for all difficulty levels start from the
Europa Square and invite you to go for a
run or enjoy some Nordic Walking. Some of
the paths, which lead to the most beautiful
squares in the area, are also suitable for
pushchairs and wheelchairs.

The Gallspach nature adventure baths is a
paradise for the whole family and offers a
special form of bathing pleasure – namely
without the addition of any chemicals.
Special attractions include the diving platform, rope jungle, sand and water playground, climbing wall, playing field for ball
games and two beach volleyball courts.

The heated outdoor pool offers, amongst
other things, a large sunbathing area and
a 50 metre long water slide. These and
other offerings contribute to the particularly
family friendly atmosphere.
From the Luisenhöhe it takes you through
the Hausruck forest, across green meadows
and down into the valley. Parents and
children can decide how fast they want to
go down the 750 metre summer toboggan
run. Whether quickly or at a more leisurely

“On the tracks, ready, go!” – that’s the motto
of the Scheiben coal station. Discover the
Hausruck forest in a rail trolley or diesel
engine on the 3.5 kilometre long circuit.
You’ll be allowed to pedal on the tracks of
the former coal train and follow the trail of
the “Brown Gold” that was mined here until
1964.

insight into the diversity of the beautiful area
