Designed by Apogee Interactive, this electronic library of knowledge about electricity and the hands-on interactive tools provided will both entertain and educate you and your children about electricity, how to use it safely and conserve it wisely. You can make some very interesting comparisons! You can estimate the potential savings of upgrading your attic insulation, windows or other components of the thermal envelope of your home. You may also figure approximately how much you spend on heating and cooling your home and know what you spend on lighting, water heating and other appliances. You can then determine the effects of upgrading equipment or changes in use habits on your energy costs. This is a powerful tool. Check the My Home tab at the top of our home page.
