Imre Franko
10/23/1937 – 2/25/2016

Imre Franko passed away on February 25, 2016
Franko began employment with Tom’s in 1974 and was the first technician that founder,
George Heidler, hired.
Franko worked for the organization for over 35 years with his most recent position as a salvage
buyer for our dismantling department.
When the Mega PDC opened in 2010, George and KC dedicated the facility in his name. A
plaque currently hangs outside the PDC.
Franko suffered a stroke last year.
His only surviving family is his brother who lives in Hungry. KC and Peewee will take his
ashes back to Europe this summer during the Hino Yokozuna trip.
A BBQ lunch will take place at the Tom’s Service Department on Friday April 8th at noon in
Franko’s honor.
All employees are welcome to attend.
