It has been a great year for the club !
Our Working Certificate is in the
books. It was a great day to spend with
friends, two-legged and four-legged.
We had a wonderful judge, Ms. Maggie Fisher from Flint, MI spent the day
with us. She set up a very nice test on
grounds that the dogs had seen but had
not trained on this scenario. The dogs
showed their abilities very well. It
seems that the training days paid off.
We have increased our numbers, we
have tried some new things and, I believe, our club is growing stronger for
it.

board is my new Vice President, Susan
Steffey. You’ll notice that I used the
possessive pronoun “my.” I am always
possessive of the VP, because the VP
covers for the President—call me selfish.
Our next event is the Christmas Party
on December 19th, I hope everyone
can join us.
As we head into the Holiday Season, I
wish you all: Peace, Joy, Happiness........Wet noses, sloppy kisses,
muddy foot prints and wagging

As for me and my dogs, we have been
chasing long tails (pheasants) for the
last month. I have seen some fantastic
dog work. It is such a pleasure watching young dogs develop those natural
abilities. For those of you who hunt
with your dogs, share your photos and
stories with us, along with the show
and test brags.
As we recently had our election of officers, we had one change roles and
added two new members to the board.
I would like to welcome Kat Cecchini
as the new Corresponding Secretary.
She will be handling AKC correspondence and she will be sending out the
notifications of Club Events. Look for
