MISSION EQUIPMENT
Starting in 2009, THOMMEN entered into a cooperation
with TRANSAS AVIATION about the joint development of
an EASA certified helicopter searchlight with innovative
technology and outstanding performance.
The now available HSL-1600IR (Swiss made)
outperforms any competitor regarding lighting
performance, reliability, resistance to environmental
conditions and, in particular, operational cost.
This project of a successful Russian-Swiss cooperation
and excellent merge of Russian design with Swiss
precision technology is the kick-off to an extended longterm partnership with large future growth potential (i.e.
Searchlight HSL-800 for light helicopter with integrated
Triple Filter Module)
.
