additional 4 speed parts 4-speed splined mainshaft for shovelhead Have you ever sheared off the clutch key on the mainshaft? Tired of that classic jerky clutch not even the ramjet can tame? Our splined mainshaft for your stock 4-Speed will allow you to use a modern splined diaphragm or coil spring clutch setup. P/N MS-4-SPLINE Fitment 4-Speed splined mainshaft for chain drive models only, 1970-Early 1984 straight kick arm and pedal Gear Ratios: 1st Gear 2.50 2nd Gear1.70 3rd Gear 1.25 4th Gear 1.00 Cast stainless straight steel kicker arm for custom applications, stock length or + 1” upgrade option PN 3510-64 Description Kick arm assembly, straight design, polished stainless steel, with bronze pedal 3511-64 Kick arm assembly, straight design + 1” length, polished stainless steel, with bronze pedal made in the u.s.a ! -4 3 2 1- The introduction of the Knucklehead and the 4-speed in 1936 marked an epoch in the history of American motorcycling. There are those who live and die by their 4-speeds today. So we developed the BAKER Ratchet Top 4-speed for all those who hail the venerable 4-speed. N- The external architecture of our cast (A356-T6) 4-speed transmission case was modeled after factory cases but includes an electric speedo provision in the back and the traditional 4-speed gear drive provision in the front. Also, the loose rollers on the main drive gear were replaced with a radial ball bearing. Case is available with 3 finishes; wrinkle black, polished, and raw (bead blasted). The detent in the Ratchet Top was migrated from the stock Fred Flintstone type to the snot-slick linear detent system for that smooth snick-pop shift quality you come to expect from us. 4-SPEED N1 DRUM Available with many kicker cover options in many finishes; kicker and non kicker versions. BAKER Klassic Kicker Gears and bronze kicker pedal come standard on kicker transmission assemblies. Gearset is made with 8620 steel and gears ride on needle bearings, not brass bushings. Made in the USA for Americans and those who enjoy American motorcycling. The N1 shift drums have a 0-down all-up shifting pattern, and eliminate any possibility of catching neutral on aggressive 1-2 shifts. Neutral is below 1st. The N1 drum is also popular with handshifting bikes where finding neutral without doubt or error is critical to safety or riding/looking smooth. The N1 drum is also available for stock 4-speeds and for our new ratchet top 4-speed. This is great for you hand shifters who want neutral at the bottom! No more missed shifts!
