The Cook’s Garden by HGEL will support the growing food revolution by promoting HGEL’s approach to hyper-‐
locavorism. At our first location, the HGEL urban growers at The Cook’s Garden will work with the best and brightest chefs and mixologists as well as home cooks on Abbot Kinney’s restaurant row in the heart of Venice, custom growing the culinary ingredients for both the professional and home kitchen…. all with a minimal carbon footprint and sustainable organic practice. The gardens will also be a powerful outreach tool spreading the wisdom of adopting an organic practice approach to gardening throughout the community and a re-‐connection to how food is grown.
