The Grade II listed boundary wall was originally built utilising stones from the Reading Abbey
ruins.
Our works comprised the careful dismantling of the mainly random flint walling, the erection of
steel strengthening posts and Helibar reinforcement, and the rebuilding of the wall panels in
lime mortar carefully constructed to match the original in every detail.
Careful planning of the works ensured the safe access at all times to the adjacent playgroup
and the security of adjoining Forbury Gardens.
