Travel in luxury to the last frontier—
enjoy 10 nights aboard the all-inclusive
Crystal Serenity.
VANCOUVER, CANADA
Day One | Wednesday, July 27
A cosmopolitan city with a European feel, Vancouver is set amid
a stunning landscape of water and mountains.
SEMINARS-AT-SEA AND INSIDE PASSAGE
Day Two | Thursday, July 28
Vancouver, Canada
Following morning seminar sessions, cruise the Inside Passage
past forested islands and a beautiful stretch of land carved by
glaciers. Because of the mild maritime climate, this area is a
prime habitat for bald eagles, sea lions, porpoises, and whales.
JUNEAU, ALASKA
Day Three | Friday, July 29
Humpback Whale
Nestled at the base of Mt. Juneau on the Gastineau Channel,
Alaska’s capital city was founded during the Gold Rush of the
1880s. Consider a shore excursion to Mendenhall Glacier, a 12mile river of ice and Alaska’s most accessible and most
photographed glacier.
HOONAH, ALASKA
Day Four | Saturday, July 30
Hoonah offers a view of Tlingit culture, as well as an abundance
of totem poles, beautiful scenery, and exotic wildlife. Hoonah is
on Chichagof Island, home to the world’s largest brown bear
population.
SEMINARS-AT-SEA AND HUBBARD GLACIER CRUISING
Day Five | Sunday, July 31
Juneau, Alaska
Seventy-five miles long and covering over 1,350 square miles,
Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in North
America. It is also one of the most impressive: a 300-foot wall
of ice, rising sheer and jagged from the water.
“Hillsdale cruises are more than wonderful and educational.
The combination of brilliant and friendly speakers, fascinating
ports, and like-minded fellow cruisers can’t be beat!”

SKAGWAY, ALASKA
Day Six | Monday, August 1
Skagway, known as the gateway to the gold fields, was Alaska’s largest town in 1898
with a population of 20,000. Today Skagway retains the flavor of the Gold Rush era,
especially on Broadway, with its false-front buildings, and in the Trail of ’98 Museum,
with its outstanding collection of memorabilia.
SITKA, ALASKA
Day Seven | Tuesday, August 2
In 1804, Sitka became the Russian capital of North America. In 1867, the
Imperial Russian flag was replaced by the Stars and Stripes when the United
States purchased Alaska. Today picturesque Sitka, across the water from
snow-capped Mount Edgecumbe, is known for its fishing industry.
KETCHIKAN, ALASKA
Day Eight | Wednesday, August 3
The salmon capital of the world and a paradise for fishermen and naturelovers alike, Ketchikan also has a rich Indian heritage. It boasts the world’s
largest collection of totem poles at Totem Bight.
