My School Year
In 2013 it was a new year for me. I made new friends, experienced new things and did tasks I never
knew I would throughout this year. I met an extraordinary teacher and did some thing I never thought
I would…...I made friends with my whole class. Now from all the time I’ve spent with these spectacular people they’re like brothers and sisters, just from different families and I love them with all my
heart. Without those fabulous people I wouldn’t be bubbly, I wouldn't be out there, I would be no
where.
I would also like to acknowledge Mr Pod for his help and persistence to make everyone's time at
Clarke Street Campus a memorable one. I would like to say a BIG thankyou to all the JSC (Junior School
Council) for organising all the brilliant days, like He/She day, Old fashioned day, House colours day,
Footy Day/Hot Dog day and Green day.
I’ve had a wonderful time participating in all the activities and things.
So THANKYOU! Every single one of you.

Summary of 2013
2013 is nearly over and it’s been a blast. This year has had its highs and lows, ups and downs. 2013
started out rough, new campus, friends, and teachers. But by the end of the year it’s all coming together and I don’t want it to end.
Term one was difficult - everyone was just trying to fit in and find new friends. As the term was coming to its end everyone gelled together as one big family. The class felt like they had known each other
for ages. That’s the one moment that made 2013 a little easier.
Term two felt like any other year, everyone felt a little more relaxed than at the start of 2013. Our
class finally were all used to Miss Loney (Looney), which actually is harder than you would think. Term
two was fantastic- when you would look around there were no more Benalla East, West and 31 kids.
Together all students would hang out with students from any school. We were finally CLARKE STREET!
Everything was normal from this point on.
Term 3 was exciting. We had camp and the concert. Benalla P-12 College Clarke Street Campus couldn’t be stronger. One other amazing opportunity was being able to do electives. There was a great variety- woodwork, first aid and more. Term 3 was so fast that I couldn’t wait until term four.
Term four was sad but exciting. It was awesome. Like I said at the start, everything was coming together. Unfortunately this term was so much faster than any of the other terms. The highlight was
definitely the sleepover, which will be in my memory bank for years to come. Term four was the best
term yet and I can’t wait for the years to come.
