Zion. Our church was founded & constituted as a church on October 7, 1857. Hundreds have heard the gospel & been saved through their receiving the gospel. One hundred fifty eight years ago a group of believers came together to form Mt. Zion Baptist Church. All were from different backgrounds, but all wanted to worship & serve the Lord. We have supported and sent out missionaries. We have a tremendous heritage. But what about our future? We need every believer to pray, to participate and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone of us must give, go & grow in our walk with God. Mt. Zion is not a building, it is a group of people coming together to be saved by the Lord, serve the Lord & share the Lord. You are invited to reaffirm your membership at Mt. Zion with your attendance on Homecoming Day! Come back to church! God will Bless you! There is room for you.
