Cost savings. Renting your textbooks can save you 40% - 60% off the new textbook price. Overtime the savings can really add-up. As an example, say a new book is $100 and you need to buy two books for two terms, over four years. If you rented used textbooks from U of T Bookstore, you could save $640. You will receive a confirmation email stating we received your order and you will receive another email letting you know when your rental textbook is ready for pick-up 5. You will receive rental return reminders when the book is due back (the date will also be in the printable contract and on your receipt) Pros: • Cost savings: 40% to 60% off the new book price • You can rent new or used books • You can rent online and pick-up in the store or you can go to any UofTBookstore and rent in store • You can write and make notes in your rental* • It’s right on the U of T campus so you don’t have to wait to get your book or ship it back • There is a return policy* so if you rented the wrong book, or dropped a course, you’re not locked-in • You get rental return reminder emails Slurp? • Rentals are exclusive to UofT Students Cons: • You cannot keep the book • It’s a popular service, so you should rent the book ASAP to ensure you get a copy.
