One-Step Injection Stretch Blow Molding Machine
■ 150-ton Injection Clamp
The 1472 kN injection clamp means that containers with up to a 158mm
thread finish can be accommodated in a three cavity configuration, or a
117mm neck can be molded in five cavities. Smaller containers with up to a
28mm thread diameter can utilize sixteen cavity molds.
With option parts, the maximum thread diameter can be increased to 223mm
for a single cavity 15 liter jar.
■ Mold Compatibility
Companies still using ASB-650NHII
and ASB-650EXHIII machines are
assured of an easy upgrade path
with the ASB-150DP machine.
Existing molds can be installed into
the ASB-150DP with the addition
of minor mold modifications and
optional adapter plates.
■ Conditioning Station
ASB’s unique conditioning station can be used in a variety of ways to
modify the preform temperature profile vertically or horizontally to allow
greater design versatility, maximizing production stability and fully
optimizing material distribution in extreme container designs and various
materials.
For example, when molding narrow necked PP infusion bottles,
pre-stretching and conditioning of the preform can be conducted by
specialized mold parts utilizing optional features of the machine.
■ Injection Unit Height Adjustment
Depending on the product, further cycle improvement can be achieved
by reducing the injection clamp stroke with mold related spacers.
Height adjustment of the injection unit is simplified with the integrated
lifting system.
■ Customize To Your Needs
Out of the box, the ASB-150DP is a hugely versatile molding machine,
but ASB knows its global customers’ needs are increasingly diverse.
So, rather than include a raft of systems that you don’t need, we offer
nearly 50 systems as options so that you can customize the operation of
the machine to your specific needs such as various molding materials,
downstream integration or factory automation.
If the container you wish to mold appears to be outside the product
specification limits shown below, please contact us anyway as we
frequently customize machines and molds to individual customer needs.

■ Low Power Consumption
The primary moving force is provided by low maintenance variable
displacement hydraulic pumps driven by certified high efficiency motors.
The overall power consumption under normal running is approximately
45%* of rated load.
