YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT SAVE THE DATE University of Northern Colorado: June 2-3, 2014 Introducing… Sue Enquist, Kinetic Affect & Heather Mitts Sue Enquist Sue Enquist, hailed a “Coaching Legend” by ESPN, one of the top five on the NCAA’s all-time winningest coaches list, led the UCLA Women’s softball team over almost three decades. Her philosophy of life, leadership, and competition is a core message that she highlights, including a focus on your passion. Kinetic Affect Kirk Latimer and Gabriel Giron are both dynamic and interactive life coaches, who will help individuals 'dig deep' and recognize their passion and purpose. Through their powerful voices and poetry, they will guide the audience through self-awareness activities and help individuals realize their inner strength. Heather Mitts Heather Mitts is a retired professional soccer player, three-time Olympic gold medalist, member of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, and played in the 2011 World Cup. Mitts has served as a studio analyst for ABC and ESPN, was a sideline reporter for several Major League Soccer broadcasts, and was also a college football sideline reporter for ESPN. Extend the Impact- A personal “classroom” of excellence The Young Leaders Summit is more than just a onetime event. Attendees are also encouraged to capitalize on mentorship opportunities with key professionals. These individuals will provide tools and techniques necessary for each attendee to feel guided and supported on his or her path to personal growth and development. What is the Young Leaders Discovery and Impact Summit (YLS)? • The Young Leaders Discovery and Impact Summit (YLS) is a two-day event designed to build better communities by creating an experience for young leaders to discover and align their purpose in life with their passions and abilities. At YLS, young leaders will connect with inspirational speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including education, business, and athletics. These role models will provide highly engaging, research-based content designed to help attendees understand who they are, with a focus on applying this knowledge and selfreflection to impact their future career and life decisions. Who Should Attend? • Our target audience includes 1) high school students seeking direction and understanding in their future goals and, 2) college students seeking to define their purpose, passions, and future career path. In other words, young leaders ranging in age from late teens to early twenties are the perfect audience for our YLS events. How long has HUMANeX Ventures been organizing YLS events? • HUMANeX Ventures’ inaugural YLS event was held in June 2013 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Our team coordinated one additional event that summer, and looks forward to bringing three more events to the communities of Greeley, Colorado, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Kalamazoo, Michigan respectively during the summer of 2014.
