That hasn’t been a problem the Tigers’ faithful have had to deal with lately. In fact, ever, as the 2007 unit was the first team in school history to win eleven games. However, the Tigers found a way to top 11 wins by adding a 12th, with a 38-7 win over No. 25 Arkansas in the 72nd annual Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Day. Arkansas went into the 2008 AT&T Cotton Bowl as a decided favorite in the rushing game. After all, it boasted not one, but two 1,000 yard rushers in their backfield including two-time Doak Walker Award winner (nation’s best running back) Darren McFadden.
