couple) and 5 apartments (with one to two bed room, a living room with kitchen and can host form 4 to 7 guests) in partnership with a
walking distance small agriturismo you can rent an additional apartment - at walking distance from the agriturismo - with private pool that
can host 4 to 6 is available.

Volterra Wedding Hall
For the couple, on stays of a week, the Agriturismo offers the suite as a
gift on the night of the wedding. In the surrounding area
• Within 3 km there is horse riding, suitable for beginners.
• Within 2 km you can fish in the lake Pavone (Peacock Lake), reclaimed
lake for sport competition and natural walks.
• Parco Naturale della Nera for trekking and mountain-bike excursions.
• Also within 15 minutes there is the rock climbing
• For those interested in golf there is a 18 hole golf course within 18
km.
• Within a 25 minute drive there is Casciana Terme and Gambassi
Terme (therapeutic natural spring waters).
• Within in 40 minutes the Tyrrhenian coast with its beautiful sea.
Celebration:
The wedding - Legally Binding - can occur in the stunning town hall of
Volterra (15 minutes drive from the farmhouse) see dedicated section
below and it can be both legally binding or symbolic. Alternatively a
symbolic celebration can occur in the terrace over the pool or under
the covered veranda or in the garden overlooking the hills cultivated
with vines.
Accommodation:
The Agriturismo has 5 apartments and 3 rooms (for a total of
maximum 30-36 persons). Apartments have a small kitchenette and a
dining room with additional sofa beds. The large bedrooms finely
furnished in Tuscan style and have air-conditioning. Near by
additional apartment is available, and at 5 minutes drive from the
Farm-Hotel. Price per head ranges from 55€ per head per night.
Reception:
The reception for less than 45 will take place in the garden of the
agriturismo side pool or on the terrace overlooking the pool. In case of
rain the agriturismo has a nice covered veranda and an internal salon
where the reception can take place. For weddings of above 45 guests
it is suggested to rent a marquee or big umbrellas and have the
reception in the area between the pool and the main salon. If the local cook will cook and serve (depending on the final number of
guests) a sample wedding menu will start from 65€ including wine, in
case of an external catering starting point for a wedding menu is of
75€

Here the menu can be something like Cocktail served by the pool, composed of:
• Gnocco fritto - a kind of fried pasta
• Prosecco (sparkling white wine)
• Wine
• Non alcoholic cocktail
• salted finger food
Appetizers (still served buffet by the pool):
• Mixed bruschetta (toasted slice of bread) with local sauce made with
liver, fresh Chianti and capers, mushrooms, tomatoes
• Mix of local cold cuts and local Cheese served with honey and jam
• Farro with tomato (sort of fresh salad made with spelt) or panzanella
(fresh bread salad with tomatoes, celery, basil olive oil etc
• pappa al pomodoro (similar to panzanella but cooked and served
hot)
Dinner (served sitting either on the terrace overlooking the vineyard
or inside the main room in case or rain or if it is too hot it has air
conditioning) 2 First courses (as an idea see the following as examples)
• Lasagna made with vegetables or Pasta made with vegetables sauce
• Pasta made with meat ragu (sauce) or Lasagna made with ragu
1 main course chosen among:
• Baked piglet covered with bacon
• Spezzatino (stew) with potatoes
• Spezzatino peposo (stew with a special recipe with pepper in grains)
• Arista (pork roast beef )
Side courses
• Fagiolini al fiasco (special recipe of beans cooked inside a special
bottle)
• Mixed Salad
• Wedding cake (Mimosa cake) served with spumante. All inclusive
water, wine, spumante (Italian champagne) coffee For groups bigger than 40, it is suggested to rent a marquee to cover
the reception area. The marquee quotation depends on the size and
will be provided on demand.
Wedding Hall in Volterra
The town hall of Volterra is one of the nicer in Tuscany. It is inside the
Palazzo dei Priori, the most ancient municipality building in Tuscany.
Any part of the building is still original and frescoes décor the
