Baldwin “Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you;” Matthew 7:7 In dealing with secular issues, most people look for and are excited to get guarantees. We look for guaranteed bonus, salary promotion, raise, health benefits and retirement benefits. Before we buy anything we want to know what is the guarantee or warranty. Unlike the world, in the kingdom of God, guarantee is built in. As citizens of the kingdom we have a kingdom guarantee. A guarantee is a positive assurance that whatever the king says will happen. God leaves no excuse for failure. Everything needed is promised. He said, ―Ask and it shall be given, seek, and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.‖ There are no exceptions. Everyone in the kingdom ought to win. Because of family connection to almighty God, we have a right to everything the Father has. It is our responsibility to get the guarantees in manifestation. To get these guarantees in manifestation, I suggest that we do the following: 1. Be in the kingdom. It’s only guaranteed to those in the kingdom. 2. Live right 3. Stay in the word 4. 5. 6. Ask in faith Believe you receive Be confident We have no excuse for failure. God has guaranteed success for all of us. He has guaranteed love, peace, power, joy, health, long life, prosperity, and many other things. As citizens of the kingdom, since we have a kingdom guarantee, let’s do our part and it’s automatic. MEN’S ARMOR BEARER MINISTRY By Pernell Mollette th Saturday June 11 , the Men’s Armor-bearer ministry joined Pastor Baldwin for breakfast at Ryan’s after prayer. We had a great time fellowshipping with our Pastor and each other. I believe the men had their fill of food and even the Word, because Pastor Baldwin doesn’t miss an op- portunity to minister-even if it is at breakfast! This outing was a wonderful opportunity for the newer members of the ministry to get an up close and personal version of our pastor. Volume 7 Issue 7 July 2011 USHER MINISTRY By Andre Stringfellow Photos By: Usher Ministry Usher Pin Nursing home resident with a corsage for Father’s Day during Nursing home visit. On Saturday, June 4, 2011, the Usher Ministry showed appreciation to our youth by sponsoring an end of the school year pool party at the Louisiana Tech Natatorium. More than 50 people attended. The kids got a chance to swim, have fun, and eat pizza while the adults got a chance to play a friendly spade card game. The youth and the adults had so much fun, we are in the process of planning a back to school swim party and spade competition. Thanks to Jeff Miller and Will Credit for assisting with the small kids; and special thanks to Andre’ Stringfellow and Kimberley Proctor for organizing the event! Recently, tornadoes, torrential flooding, hurricanes, and earthquakes have taken place in the U. S. and internationally. Therefore, the NLW Usher Ministry geared up to manage such an incident by practicing an emergency drill. The key to emergency planning is to have an organizational team to manage the emergency and control what is happening. The objectives are to protect the people in the facility and to minimize loss. For Father's Day, the Usher Ministry visited local nursing homes to support all fathers by pinning red roses on them and playing Bingo. As usual, the Bingo was a great success! See you at our next event! SINGLES MINISTRY GAME NIGHT By Ayasha Combest th On June 17 , the New Living Word Singles’ Ministry held its first game night. Tacos were on the menu, plus spades and Catch Phrase were played. The members with children didn’t even need to get a babysitter, because the children were welcomed. We had so much fun that we plan to hold many more events.
