Project Lincoln will be developing a state of the art 300,000 square foot facility and will be employing 200 FTEs with an average salary of $52,000. Some training will be needed from the community college system. The company is seeking a 30-40 acre site that is shovel-ready and has good highway access for their product distribution. Incentives will be a factor so be prepared to address your community’s policy. Assume there are performance standards and clawback provisions if the company does not meet minimum standards. Adopted policy allows for a grant back to the company each year after they have paid their taxes. Approved ranges: 30-80% of amount equal to annual property taxes in the form of an annual grant for 3-10 years.
