Friendship Coffee Socials
Do it your way! We have had many types of
“coffees”, no big expectations. Some just have a
show n tell, some pick a theme, some demo
something, some have Ice Cream, some have
food, some just cake and coffee, etc, etc. Some
have a daytime get together, some have an afternoon or evening. Whatever is best for you.
The Guild provides $25 to offset the cost.
Please cut precisely and use good quality
material.
If you would like to sign up for the exchange, my email address is:
[email protected]
Linda Ira’s “Favorite Tool” Social was heard to
be a success! Anyone want to do a May date?
“Block Club” Rules of the Game
If you do sign up; make certain you bring the required number. Don’t forget. Others are counting on
you as one of the exchangers.
Ways and Means
Please use the best quality of 100% cotton available.
Make certain your cut is straight; not wavy or bowed.
Anita, Bonnie, Ellie, June, & Lisa
Depending on the number that sign up; it may take as
much as two yards of fabric. It is better to use all of
the same fabric for your swap.
Turn them in at the beginning of the meeting to allow
time to sort and then don’t forget to pick up your bag
after the meeting. Listen at the meeting for the number of strips.

Since we have members that have never been to our Quilt Show before nor been part of the set up of the show, I decided to make this newsletter A QUILT SHOW VIEW OF THE PAST. My focus is on the photos that show the set up instead of the quilt entries so that the newbies can get a feel for what we do every two years to put on a really great show. It takes us all in one way or another doing our part, whether it is physical work or making items for the Boutique and Hearts Desire, or doing white gloves or manning the tables, or greeting the guests. I hope this gets our enthusiasm going, we’ve got fun times ahead. QS PHOTOS FROM 2005
