All About Yarn strives to provide a wide variety of yarns, patterns, and classes for every level of knitter. Our helpful staff can help
match up what is needed for a project and our friendly Open Knitting group on Friday afternoons gives our customers the
opportunity to share ideas and inspiration.
Our stock includes color rich yarns from Abstract Fiber, Berroco, Cascade, Classic Elite, Madeline Tosh, Malabrigo, Pagewood
Farms, Shalimar, Sirdar, Universal and one of the largest inventories of Plymouth Encore Worsted in the greater Portland area.
All About Yarn is located in Tigard with easy access from Highway 217 and plenty of on-site parking. We’re looking forward to

Angelika’s Yarn Store has a deep collection of all ranges of yarn, knitting and crocheting tools, high quality
hardware for felted bags, and Silver Reed knitting machines. We stock quite a bit of Lorna’s Laces and
Cascade (Yes, we have ALL the colors of Cascade 220) and we focus on finding quality yarn with a
pocketbook-friendly flair in a wide range of fibers. We carry a very generous selection of knitting tools from
the nearly microscopic crochet hook to the comically large single points.
We are beginner friendly with a small Saturday knitting group that loves to assist and see new projects.
We are located in a small strip mall (Plaid Pantry, Liquor store and more), downtown Portland with free
parking in front of the store. Easy access off and on I5 and the 405.

Close Knit is the friendly neighborhood knitting and crochet shop located in the heart of Northeast Portland in the
Alberta Arts District.
We feature Blue Sky, Spud and Chloe, Rowan, Manos, Malabrigo, Madelinetosh, Classic Elite, Cascade,
Scrumptious, and much more. The shop hosts two events weekly for our knitting and crochet neighborhood:

Thursday, March 1 st: We’ll be open until 9:00 with a Fiber Tasting for spinners. Bring your wheel or drop spindle, or
borrow one of ours, and come try a variety of fiber types in natural and hand-dyed colors. There will be samples
available to try and, of course, you can pick up more of your favorites to take home and spin! Expert spinners will be on
hand to offer advice and an introductory lesson as well.
Alexandra’s Crafts Trunk Show: Alexandra’s offers a variety of yarns from sock weight to thick/thin bulky as well as fiber
for spinning.
Caress Luxury Yarns Trunk Show: Caress Luxury Yarns showcases locally-sourced alpaca in natural and hand-dyed
colors and also combines alpaca with extra-fine merino and cashmere to create drop-dead gorgeous yarns and
spinning fibers.

Wynona Studios is located on Main Street historic, downtown Oregon City. We do not carry commercial yarns, but instead
specialize in local yarns that are hand delivered by the spinner or dyer that creates them. Our handspun yarn is created by Kim
Baller, Judy Herndon and Sue Clark among others. We also have some local fiber that is mill spun and then dyed locally by
Oregon Trail Natural Fibers and Covered Bridge Farms. We also have locally produced fiber including angora from Angel Hair,
jacob and llama from Drumcliffe, and pygora from Judy Herndon as well as different types of wool from Sue Clark and some
fiber that is dyed by local indie dyers. They rest of our yarn is recyled yarn. We take un-loved sweaters made from lovely fibers
and turn them back into yarn so that they can go on to a productive second life with you! This is not only sustainable choice for
your knitting and crocheting projects, its also a way to experiment with some different fiber content, including alpaca,
cashmere, angora and shetland wool. Our stock is always changing, always unique and always earth-friendly.
