Transport
There are many public transport alternatives to and from the Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) airport:
regional trains, local buses, and taxis. Visit http://www.osl.no/en/osl/tofromairport for more detailed
information about the airport.
by Airport Express Coach (flybussen) recommended
Travelers arriving at Oslo Gardermoen airport may take the Airport Express Coach for a direct
journey to the hotel. The trip lasts 30 minutes and costs (single ticket) around €18,00. The coach
stops in front of the hotel. For tickets and coach schedule, please visit the website:
http://www.flybussen.no/en
by taxi
The travel time from the airport to the venue is around 30 minutes.
We strongly recommend that you to take the airport express coach (flybussen) instead of the taxi as
this is quite expensive.
However, if you decide to take the taxi, here are useful numbers of taxi companies in Oslo:
•
Oslo Taxi: +47 22 38 80 90/ +47 22 38 86 00
•
Taxi 2: +47 23 20 45 00
•
Norgestaxi: +47 08000
by train & metro
When travelling with the train, it is recommended that you take the express train to Central Station
Jernbanetorget/Oslo S. Please visit http://www.flytoget.no/eng/ for more information. The travel time
will be around 20 minutes and the price 170 NOK or €20,50 per single journey. I
You can easily pay for your trip on the train platform itself. There are ticketing machines where you
can just swipe your credit card as you go in and out of the station. Doing this means you have paid
for the entire trip and no other tickets are required.
