Roundtrip in the Oslofjord by boat from Aker Brygge Summer is approaching, and we would like you to join us on a trip by boat B21 between Aker Brygge and Son, requiring neither overnight or much planning - join the fjord cruise! You can join us for the whole route or step off anywhere on the journey. You can choose between 7 stops. On Fornebulandet you can go hiking in Nansenparken, bathing in Storøyodden beach which is one of 14 beaches that have been awarded the Blue Flag, viewing birds on the Storøya, experience modern architecture and art on Telenor and Statoil buildings. Have a picknick in their backyard or play a game of volleyball. The venerable Sjøflyhavna tavern is certainly worth a visit. Great food and great location. Ø Vollen - Welcome to Vollen, situated on the west side of the Oslo Fjord and a real "southern pearl". There has been a vibrant street life for generations, and trading has flourished no less than 145 years. Today Vollen consists of the Oslofjord museum, showing the rich culture history, as well as lots of great activities for the children. In the center of idyllic Vollen you will find small businesses in fashion, interior, gold, perfumes, galleries and eateries. You will also find a the outdoor italian restaurand, Vitos, on the marina. Do you care for a swim in the ocean or a picknic, the Fritznersgate beach which has been awarded the Blue Flag is an excellent place for the outdoor activities. Like a bikeride on an el bike? Ø Oscarsborg - Only five to ten minutes by ferry from Drøbak you will find Oscarsborg Fortress, situated right in the middle of the Oslo Fjord. Oscarsborg Fortress is known to most Norwegians as the fortification that sank the German cruiser Blücher during the Second World War. Today Oscarsborg is open to the public and in addition to the museum and the original fortifications there is several restaurants and a hotels there today. Every year there is an annual opera festival in August Ø Drøbak - The many old wooden houses together with shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants makes the old town Drøbak unique and worth a visit. 200 years ago Drøbak was an important exporter of ice and timber which made the business flourished and prosperous merchants laid the foundation for the city as we know it today. In Drøbak you will find Tregaardens Julehus, Norway's first Christmas House Christmas House open all year, and Santa's post office. Over 20,000 letters is received every year from children worldwide. Many of these you can see if you visit the Tourist Information in Drøbak. Ø Son – Son Coastal Culture Centre is beautifully situated right in the heart of Son. The Center consists of a harbor with old working and leisure boats, exhibitions, museum shop and jeweler. Son Kro has a past as a seaside hotel back in the 1800s. Today Son Kro is a traditional inn with a beautiful view over the boat harbour and fjord. It is a popular meeting place in Son and offers a wide choise of seasonal dishes. Ø Nesoddtangen - Hellviktangen is Nesodden pearl - a magnificent Art Nouveau villa right by the sea, with garden, a beach and a private pier. Popular for weddings and summer parties, with large terrace facing the fjord. A meal at Hellviktangen is organic, homemade and with quality food in a place filled with soul and charm.
