Sensitivity
All bands should be as sensitive as possible to give the best range and
subsequently the earliest warning. With around 65% of police radars
using Ka band, this is the band that should have the highest sensitivity.

iltering
The more effective the filtering, the less false alerts you will get and
the more effective your radar detector will perform. The 9500ci and
9500ixi allow GPS Truelock to lock out false alert locations.
Easy to Understand Alerts
Voice alerts are a major advantage as the driver can clearly understand
what warning is being given. With clear voice alerts to reassure you of
the threat, no mistakes can be made.
Mounting
A strong, high quality mount should be included with the unit. Make
sure that your radar detector is securely mounted and the display is
easy to read from your normal driving position.
Selectable Bands
Many low quality safety radar detectors do not allow the user to select
the bands to be on or off. In Australia and New Zealand X Band is no
longer in use by Police. A detector without X Band defeat is useless in
these regions as it will constantly false alert.

A safety radar detector equipped with Safety Warning System
technology “SWS” will alert the driver to such road hazards as Road
Crew Ahead, Emergency Vehicle in Transit, Rest Area Ahead, and Train
Approaching. The Safety Warning System could save your life.
Undetectability
Until recently, safety radar detectors were either completely detectable
or only undetectable to 1 or 2 radar-detector-detectors (RDD’s).
Escort’s 9500ci and Redline ProA units are undetectable to all RDD’s
including the newest Spectre IV. Independent tests have proven the
9500ci and Redline to be untraceable to police RDD’s.

ESCORT TotalShieldTM Technology keeps RF signals from radiating from
the detector. Unlike other radar and laser detectors, which merely move
their RF signals (local oscillators) to another frequency (which will be

This mirror display completely replaces your display module included
with your 9500ci radar detector. The alphanumeric display consists
of 280 individual LEDs, to provide an intuitive ultra-bright display of
signal strength and text messages exactly as your original display
module. Display brightness can be controlled by the BRT button on
the Escort control module as normal and the mirror display also
features an Auto-Dimming sensor (separate 12v DC power required).
Available in either RED or BLUE, both supplied with a universal
mount to suit most vehicles, other mounts available separately.
