Tasting notes The first wine of the Chateau, Château Coucy expresses above all the intrinsic nature of this Montagne Saint-Emilion ‘terroir’. 100% matured in French oak barrels. Soft and elegant, the oak characters of the wine are complemented by the supple nature of the tannins. Brilliant garnet red in colour with tints of ruby, and aromas of red fruit and red peppers typifying Cabernet Sauvignon accompanied by soft and smooth vanilla and liquorice notes unique to very ripe Merlot. The tannins are agreeable, fine and rich, beginning to integrate. The palate is full, with good balance, with a subtle mix of spices, old rose and cherries. Serve with casseroles, game, or cheeses of character. Packaging 75 cl - Bordeaux Patrimoine bottle. In the range La Chapelle Ségur Une histoire de famille...
