The outstanding economy, capacity, comfort and flexibility
of the Opel Movano speak for themselves. It is simply
a great ‘all-rounder’. But there are times when something extra is required.
One of these beneficial additions is air suspension.
Among other benefits this reduces rear suspension
wear, cuts road shock and improves driving characteristics. Drive Rite semi-air suspension is available for
both front- and rear-wheel drive versions of the Opel
Movano. It is supplied in kit form with all the components
needed for installation and is underwritten by 25 years of
experience in air suspension.
With 7 bar (100 psi) maximum pressure, the 6 inch double convoluted
air springs work together with the factory-installed steel springs for
improved control and response. As well as raising the rear bodywork
by up to 5 cm, the semi air system also offers a self-levelling function.
Major advantage is that the system compensates against side-heavy
loading influencing the rear suspension.
For those with special needs or requirements, the internal air pressure
can be manually or automatically adapted to individual needs using
an optional ‘air accessory’ kit. These provide an easy-to-use control
system with compressor controls and dashboard-mounted gauges.
