1,3 KM CIRCUIT / FAMILY WALK
Waterpire
Wild reindeer on Hardangervidda
SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS
Haukelifjell – Telemark
THIS ROUTE IS OUT OF the ordinary
and gives you the chance to team up
with our superhero Sildre – a happy
little water droplet – on the hunt for
the villainous Waterpire Surkula who
is trying to pollute our countryside.
Sildre’s story is presented as a cartoon
strip at five information posts along the
route. In addition to the story of Sildre
and Waterpire Surkula, there are some
installations where you can try generating power, find out how much water
you use during a day, and have a real
water fight with Waterpire Surkula,
the water vampire.

The information boards feature QR
codes that you can scan with your
mobile phone to access additional
information about both water and
Hardangervidda National Park.
NORWAY IS THE ONLY COUNTRY in Europe that is home

THE FIGURES YOU WILL MEET ALONG THE TRAIL
HI! MY NAME IS SILDRE,
MY NAME IS SOLA, and
and I’m a superhero! Stop
off at Haukelifjell and join
me and my friends on a
fascinating walk.
I’m the most important of
all. Without me, nothing
could live or grow on Earth.

I’M LIVE, and I’m the Earth Princess.
I’m responsible for everything that
lives and grows in nature. Sildre is
my best friend. On your walk around
Haukelifjell, you will find out what
the consequences are if anything
happens to me.
OI, YOU! I’m Waterpire Surkula
– and I hate everything that is
pure and good. Most of all, I
hate clean water. If you dare to
stop at Haukelifjell, I challenge
you to a real water fight!
