The promise of an unique event…
A building of the XIIIth century,
perched on the ramparts of the
medieval town of the Haut-deCagnes, le Cagnard is an exceptional
residence.
Its history is closely tied to the one of
the Château Grimaldi which dates
back to the XIVth century : in
particular, the Guard room with its
arched fireplace, decorated with a
fresco depicting elephants, giving it
an exotic and fanciful touch.
The famous ceiling of the restaurant
opens up to reveal the blue sky
above. Its 200 panels were painted
by hand.
