importance of hedging against the volatility of the ZAR. In effect a legal way to externalize wealth.
The opportunity comes in the form of acquiring two fully crewed 62’ state of the art sailing catamarans manufactured by one of the
world’s most established shipyards, Robertson & Caine.
The investment is investing in a yacht using soft currency and the yacht is placed into charter and earns a hard currency rental
stream. We market and sell charters and manage every aspect of the investment.
Our investment programme is not a vacation plan or yacht ownership programme but rather a strictly asset based investment that
generates hard currency income streams. A yacht investment historically offers a return of between 10% - 25%+. Tax benefits are
simple yet effective. Larger yachts qualify for ships status and attract certain additional tax breaks. A yacht retains a high capital
value and free/discounted utilization of a yacht offers investors an attractive incentive. This is a genuine incentive that does hold
appeal for certain investors. The yacht charter industry is established and growth of approximately 5% pa is the norm.
How the Investment Works
Upon finalization of all required documentation and receipt of the investment cost by Cape Cairo Alliance, the yachts are purchased.
The yachts are immediately placed into charter and start to generate hard currency revenue streams. The ownership structure is
either in an investor’s personal capacity if he/she purchases 100% of the boat or if part of a co-ownership structure the boat will be
owned either by a South African Company or an Offshore Company. If local, the yacht will be registered with a South African flag
and home port. If offshore, the yacht will be registered under a foreign flag. Whatever the structure, every owner receives Yachts
Registration Papers that clearly represent the percentage ownership held by each investor and this ownership is also reflected in
the yacht’s insurance policy. If the yacht is purchased via a Company then each owner receives a share certificate that represents
the percentage ownership held. Every month management accounts are generated, audited and presented to investors. Profits are
paid quarterly in arrears but can be flexible depending on investors needs.
An investment in a yacht provides you with a unique, legal and unlimited financial instrument to convert your Rands to foreign
currency, which can be retained in the offshore account of your choice. This process does require authorization of the South African
Reserve Bank which does not present any problem.
This is a legal and effective mechanism to externalize any amount of your wealth (for instance, assets swaps provide this in terms of
income, but the capital eventually has to be reconverted back to Rand). Of importance, this investment is not related to nor tied to
your R4 million foreign investment allowance. Your potential is unlimited.

"Sea Leopard" is the last and best built Leopard 62. Built in 2004 this is a one-owner fly-bridge catamaran, and has been
meticulously maintained by long term professional crew since new. Currently it is in the BVI where it is well known as a legendary

The Leopard 62 is a luxury crewed catamaran with a "mega yacht feel” featuring spacious accommodations for a yacht this size
because of the fly bridge thereby adding extra interior volume.
Two Yanmar 240Hp engines provide for speeds of 13 knots under power and excellent maneuverability.
You will find this yacht offers a powerful sail plan for excellent performance both up and down wind. The 62 also features hydraulic
dagger boards, which can be raised when heading downwind or under power for improved performance, or when mooring, or
approaching shallow waters. Lowering the dagger boards improves upwind directional and speed performance.
The saloon has separate dining and lounging areas, an entertainment center, and navigation station. A cocktail bar is situated at the
entrance of the saloon. The huge cockpit is protected by a hardtop fly bridge. Supporting the mainsheet traveler and housing the
exterior steering station, the fly bridge is completely outfitted with full electronics. The majority of the sail handling is carried out
here, out of the way of the cockpit area, with all winches within easy reach of the helmsman.
