CRICKET CAN CLUB SUMMERNUTS – PRELIM FINALS
Just a dirty day for the boys.
With the bat best in finals player Jackie worked hard for 23 runs and Stevo worked hard for his ten
but that was it.
We didn't handle the low bounce and failed to protect our stumps. We didn't bowl for long enough
but our openers Will and Plumby did bowl well.
To think at this time last year we looked as if we would not have a side yet we went up a grade and
played IN A PRE LIM.
It was great effort Well done to Vladimir Lazy and the off field work of Sam and Sheree.
Congratulations Guys on a great Season!

SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA 15 YEARS & UNDER BOYS
AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN
Registrations to trial for School Sport Victoria’s 15 Years & Under Boys Australian
Football Registrations are now open. Registration remain open to 23 March 2016.
Trials for non TAC development squad players begin on 30 March, then for TAC
Development Squad members the following week. A trial will also be offered in
Mooroopna this year on 6 April for TAC Development Squad members from the
northern and central areas of Victoria. We hope this gives players from these areas a
better opportunity to trial rather than travelling to Melbourne.
If anyone needs more information on the SSV team then please visit the SSV website at
https://www.ssv.vic.edu.au/TeamVic/Pages/AustralianFootball.aspx#item2. There is a
link from that page to details on the trial process and the online registration system.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST!!!
For quite some time now members of the Association have been planning to band together a legitimate fishing club.
With consultation with the committee and with 20-30 keen anglers the conception of the Oak Park Angling Club
(OPAC) has evolved.
Annual membership would include:
Social membership of the Oak Park Community Sports Association Members merchandise( fishing shirt, bucket hat,
stubby holder) First Wednesday of the month at the club to discuss fishing trips and update notice board.
3 social days at the club including the sale of discount tackle and general fishing activities from our sponsors and local
tackle stores. Access to fishing reports on our Facebook page, weekly newsletter and webpage Monthly prize benefits
for best catch Club records printed on honour board Club events e.g. Lake Eildon-Trout, Port Phillip Bay-Snapper,
Portland-Tuna Chance to represent OPAC in legitimate Tournaments
To make a start we need membership numbers confirmed to incorporate OPAC with the OPCSA.
There are many government grants which we would apply for and get the kitty going to pay for future fishing trips,
merchandise etc.
The amount of members interested would impact the founding membership amount.
Please contact either Michael Peart on 0423 365 635, Bryce Crosswell on 0431 234 006 or Nick Rudewych on 0434 003
