DIRECTIONS
Take the shortest route to International Falls, MN. and cross
the border into Fort Frances. Take Highway 11 east for 19
miles to the Manitou Highway (502) north. Travel to the town
of Dryden. There, take the Trans-Canada Highway west for 21
miles to WALDHOF ROAD, turn south for 3 miles on a good
all weather gravel road.

Just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for making our stay
at Birch Dale a memorable one. Your kind hospitality and friendship
made our trip. I have been back for 2 weeks and wish I could leave
and come back tomorrow. We already planning for next year and I
think we will have even a bigger gang coming up. Looking forward
to seeing you at the All Canada Show in Milwaukee this winter.

FISHING EAGLE LAKE
Walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout,
muskie and perch. Eagle Lake with it’s many islands,
channels, sheltered bays, deep ledges and weed beds
provide the ultimate in fishing ALL-YEAR-ROUND.
BOATS AND MOTORS
Clean, comfortable and reliable to get you anywhere on
the lake. Our regular boat packages include 17’ Misty
Rivers with 25 hp Honda electric start motors. Upgrade
to our 18’ Lund Outfitters with 40 hp electric start
Hondas. All our boats are equipped with bait buckets,
anchors, safety kits and landing nets. There is other
optional equipment. We take pride in keeping our boats
and motors in top operating condition.

I wanted to welcome you as the new owners of Birchdale
Lodge! Johnathan, Lee and I stayed at the Lodge for
the first time the last week of May. We really had a great
time. The fishing was good. The 28 ”, 8 pound walleye
and the 21 ”, 5 pound smallmouth that I released were
definitely highlights. During our stay in your campground,
your accommodations and customer service were exceptional.
The water and electric hook-ups were very convenient and
the shower and bathroom facilities were really clean. We
have stayed at several different lodges in Canada over the
years. The atmosphere and services you provided were the
best we have experienced.

HOUSEKEEPING PLAN
Guests will be provided their cabin with all the comforts of
home and will take care of their own meals and daily cleaning.
RV PARK & CAMPGROUND
Our camping facilities include water, electricity, picnic tables
and fireplaces at each site. There are a number of RV pullthrough sites that also include sewer disposal hook-ups. Full
washroom, shower house and laundromat are nearby for
your convenience.

BEAR HUNTING
- August 2010 Jamie Kimberley shot a
500 lb. black bear -
Birch Dale Lodge has a bear management area where
we allow a limited number of hunters. This area is
exclusive to our lodge and our success rate is very high.
We bait all sites two weeks prior to hunters’ arrival. All
sites are just a short drive from our resort. Cabins and
meals are available for your stay.
DEER HUNTING
Enjoy a comfortable cabin and meals while you hunt
your next trophy buck. We provide detailed maps of
acres and acres of government land for you to hunt.
