This 8-week series helps children and teens ages 4-17 learn ways to cope with stress and express their emotions through art and play. Includes dinner. Preparing for Surprises Wednesday, March 30, 6:30 - 8:00 pm Being a cancer patient or supporting a cancer patient is a difficult job even when things are going smoothly. When things go wrong and surprises happen, often plans go out the window. In this session, we will discuss ways to plan for the unexpected during cancer treatments. From finding the right doctors to negotiating severe outcomes, this talk will be an introduction to thinking about what could happen before it sneaks up on you. Let them treat you to a nutritious meal while you relax and mingle – and they’ll even clean up! This group addresses the unique needs and concerns of people affected by pancreatic cancer.
