When The Talking Stops
It’s great to talk of faith
In this era of strife,
But what we really need

As our children return to school I wonder how may more
children would be in school. But Planned Parenthood decided
that those children didn’t deserve to live. So, the battle continues
to rage. Unborn babies are dying and their bodies being harvested. What are we doing to stop this madness?
Well, each Saturday morning as day follows night faithful prayer
warriors stand in prayer at the last surgical abortion mill in Missouri. They don’t get paid to come and pray they come because
God has called them to be faithful.
I was out of town two Saturdays so the count is not accurate.

wanted HIV. We sent them to a clinic that doesn’t do abortions.

A different clinic told this young lady that her baby was

the baby. I told her she needed to have a second opinion before
she agree to that. She said she would see our doctor. He was
called and he agreed see her immediately. She left but never
kept her appointment. Her number she gave us was not a working number. The only thing to do now is to pray for her.
As we close another month we implore you to join Defenders of the Unborn to stand in the gap for the unborn. This journey is a matter of life and death and we must act like it.

For the past five years Defenders of the Unborn has been a participant of the Eureka Day parade. We handed out 750 carnations to girls in the child bearing age. This flower has a note on it if you need help call, we can help. It was a fun time for
all. Forty plus pro-lifers joined us in the parade.
September 19, 2015– National Day of Remembrance
On this day we stood at the site where thirteen babies are buried. Thirteen innocent little ones who lost their lives and then was a
second time humiliated –thrown in the trash. Father Kinkead read the account how the babies were found. Each time I listen to
the account I am bothered by the lack of humanity for these children. To be thrown in the trash with chicken bones and waste

Bishop Rice blessed the grave site and the children that were laid there to rest. We must never forget the horror of abortion. To
have the Knights of Columbus honor guard gave the ceremony more respect.
We thank you for attending this day of remembrance.
Senate Hearings
On September 5, 2015, Defenders of the Unborn spoke to the
Senate hearing on defunding Planned Parenthood, the harvesting of baby body parts, and the licensing of the Columbia
abortion clinic.
I asked the committee to also look into the Board of Healing
Arts. Since 2009, 28 ambulances have been seen at the abortion mill. Each time this happens Defenders of the Unborn
sends a letter to the Board to investigate the doctor. Each time
no wrong doing on the part of the doctor. Even when a
woman died, one had her uterus perforated , one was told she
was 8 weeks when in fact she was 6 months. The baby died.
Again another cover-up!

Two More Florida Abortion Facilities Cited, Fined for Illegal
Second Trimester Abortions
Two more Florida abortion facilities that are licensed only for
first trimester abortions have been cited and fined by the Administration for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for conducting
illegal second trimester abortions.
This brings to five the number of Florida abortion clinics cited
for exceeding their first trimester abortion limits. Last month, the
AHCA cited and fined Planned Parenthood abortion facilities in
St. Petersburg, Ft. Myers, and Naples for committing illegal lateterm abortions.

Second trimester abortions require different procedures that
pose more risks to women than those done in the first trimester,
and licensing limits reflect that.

Where Do Aborted Baby Remains Go? Some Went Here.

San Diego, CA – It was 1998. The largest abortion clinic in
the San Diego area at that time was the Family Planning Associates abortion clinic in La Mesa, California.
Abortionist James Long worked for FPA conducting about
200 abortions each and every week at the high volume facility
located on the second floor of a very large medical complex.
As a former sidewalk counselor at that facility, I often wondered what happened to the babies aborted there.
Then one day, I got the answer.
Tim Wilson, a long-time pro-life activist in Southern California, had wondered the same thing. He tracked down the pathology lab where all the aborted baby remains were sent. He noticed that the pathology lab had plenty of windows, so he
thought he’d take a closer look.
Through those windows, Tim took photographs of hundreds
of translucent plastic containers, each one holding the visible remains of aborted babies. The unrefrigerated tubs varied in size
from a few ounces to large gallon buckets. One can hardly imagine the stench of death that must have permeated that office.
All of the grisly contents, according to the paperwork that
could be seen in the photos, were the product of James Long’s
handiwork at that FPA abortion clinic in La Mesa.
Tim sent prints of the photos out to many of us. These are
scanned images of mine that I used for years to show women
how the abortion clinic treated the remains of their sons and
daughters.
With the recent release of the videos from the Center for
Medical Progress, there has been a curiosity about where aborted
baby remains end up that are not sold to biotech firms. While
abortion clinics’ disposal practices vary from place to place,
these photos show the stark reality of the carnage that takes
place in just a few days at high-volume abortion clinics.
On many of the leaky, blood stained tubs, one can read the
name of the mother and the date of her abortion. Those we have
blurred for the sake of the women involved. Most of these babies
were aborted in January, 1998. If their mothers had made other
decisions, these children would now be fast approaching their
18th birthdays.

In 2000, the abortion business’ lease at the La Mesa location was terminated as the result of pro-life efforts and they
were forced to move. FPA eventually relocated to Mira Mesa
and continues to sell abortions to women today. But the traffic
has dramatically decreased over the years and now FPA offers
only one surgical day per week – down from 4-5 surgical days
in the 1990s.
As for the abortionist, James Long, he has since retired.
May these images help us all to reflect on the enormity of the
human tragedy of abortion — of which these photos show
only a very small part — and may they motivate us to do more
to stop it. May our work to save the lives of others help the
souls of these babies rest in peace.

With the recent videos revealing the handy work of Planned Parenthood it makes you wonder how low have we
gone? After 40 plus years of killing children the government has decided to look into this barbaric act. I believe they
are the ones (Supreme Court) who began this horrific act of killing a child.
While we want for the government to act upon these tapes we (citizens) must wait. Babies are dying each day that
passes and we must wait. I am not a very patient person when it comes to waiting to save the life of an unborn child.
I am not willing to wait for the government to make a decision on how we are to spend our money or how much is
used to finance those who kill children.
Babies die each day in our country and we allow this to happen. If the tapes did not stir your conscience then
nothing will.
In late September we held a memorial service for those babies that were found in the trash here in Missouri and
around the country. Why did we do that? Do you visit your loved ones that have died? Do you take flowers to the
grave site where they are buried? Do you pray for them? I do! So, what is the difference with these babies? What is
the difference with the babies that are on the videos? These children are human the same as you and I.
As I listened to the accounts from those who found the babies I am saddened by how they were treated. How inhuman it was for them. These babies are forgotten. They were put in the trash with other trash. How can anyone do
that to another human being? How can we continue to allow this barbaric act continue? It is time for this to come to
an end. It is past time for us to be the voice that needs to be for those who cannot speak for themselves.
The other week I was at Planned Parenthood counseling and a mom came to the sidewalk to have a cigarette. She
was waiting for her grandchild to be killed. Her grandchild that was 20 weeks gestation. If this baby was two weeks
older it would be protected by laws. Just two weeks!
As she talked she was upset that her 20 year old daughter decided to abort her child. She said she talked to her
about the help the family would give to her. Her response was that she needed to do this. Dad was in prison, I told
her the baby’s death would not release him from prison nor would it make her life better. It will only make matters
worse.
The young girl made one trip for the counseling, the second trip was to prepare her for the second trimester abortion. And the final trip was for the death of her child. I asked mom if she opposed the abortion then why did she
drive her. She said that someone needed to. I explained that if she didn’t drive her she might not have anyone to
come with her and maybe she might have different thoughts. But mom made it possible for her to abort her grandchild.
A mom is to protect a child that is given to her by God. How can we justify this act of killing? How can we say that
we are supporting our children when in fact we are harming them.
I told her that I would pray for both of them and asked her to call me if her daughter needed anything.
For me this was a terrible time, pleading for this child’s life and people standing chatting about nothing and this baby
is dying.
A short time later a mom came with her daughter. She agreed to talk with me. As we spoke the daughter was 16
years old and was told by her father that she must abort. But dad didn’t bring her– mom did. I asked the mom
where was the dad? He was already at Planned Parenthood waiting for them. The young girl was crying but all she
could say was that her father told her she needed to abort this child– his grandchild.
I pleaded for this baby but daddy was calling and she had to go inside this place of death. How can she look at her
father and say that he truly loves her?
Sometimes when I walk away from this place of death I have to wonder why am I putting myself through this day
after day. So many other things that I could be doing that doesn’t cause me heartache. But then I remember that
God doesn’t ask that I be successful but only to be faithful.
Someday I will answer to God for what I have done to rescue His little ones and I don’t want to say that I was too
busy doing what made me feel good.
I implore you to join with Defender of the Unborn to rescue each child one at a time. To be faithful to His call.
To be the hands and feet to save the precious little ones. It is our time be the voice for the voiceless.
The Center for Medical Progress has made the bold step to expose those that destroy our children now it up to us
to finish the job. To defund Planned Parenthood and to close the abortions mills, here in Missouri the last surgical
abortion mill in our state.
