Scientist in Ecological Sciences at the Bombay Natural History Society in field
research projects at Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and
Tamilnadu during 1982 to 1992. Has two zoological rediscoveries to his
credit. The rediscovery of the bird, unseen for 80+ years, the Jordon’s
Courser, was commemorated with the release of a postage stamp by the
Philately Bureau of India. Also served as Conservation Officer for Salim Ali
