The St. James Wall of Faith Committee
Founded in 2012, our Mission Statement is to seek
out nominations from within the St. James
Community of Faith, in order to recognize
individuals who, throughout the years, have had a
positive influence on our community in some way;
perhaps through the gift of their time, their talent or
their dedication. Those chosen may be alumni,
parishioners, teachers, employees or volunteers. Their
one common thread is their readiness to reach out to
help others in the greater community through
academics, sports, arts, government service or in any
other way that that reflects the faith and
values of St. James.
This event has been made possible by the
generosity of a supportive and wonderful community of dedicated parents, pastors, teachers and administrators! We keep asking and you keep giving!
We are very grateful to the Wall of Faith Committee
members and to the St. James Fathers’ Club who
have come together to bring us the Second Wall of
Faith Gala and Auction. Their hard work shows
our children what it means to invest in your community. Their efforts to celebrate ‘community’
bringing faith, family and fun together!

L1—DINNER BY FIREMAN DAN
St. James School alumni, Bridgeport Firefighter Dan Brelsford a finalist in this past
season of ABC's hit reality competition hosted by Anthony Bordain, 'The Taste' will
prepare a gourmet dinner for up to (6) people in the comfort of your own home!
Now that's a dinner party!
L2– NIGHT OUT IN NY
Make it a night on the town with a with door to door car service for you and a guest
to NYC for dinner at the Yale Club Grill Room fro two with a bottle of wine included.
With its cozy, pub-like atmosphere and family-friendly service, the Grill is perfect for
a quick meal or casual get-together. This is the place for lighter fare such as soups,
salads and sandwiches, and, of course, Yale Club Lager and Bulldog Burgers. The
Grill Room is great for informal dining. Denim in neat repair is always welcome!
L3– FIRE BOAT
A one of kind experience...Did you know that the Stratford Fire Department recently
acquired a state of the art fire and rescue boat? How about you and three friends
start out for breakfast at The Blue Sky Diner and then hop on the boat for a tour of
the Housatonic River? And yes, you get to use the hose!
L4—PERSONAL PIG ROAST
Let the Masters of the hog pit roast up a great event for your and a number of your
friends and family. The St. James Fathers’ Club will provides and cook a small pig for
up to 40 of your favorite folks!
L5—WEEKEND AT THE BEACH
Beautiful Montauk NY weekend getaway! A weekend stay in a house on the beautiful south fork of Long Island!
