elcome! We are glad you are here to join us in worship in the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass). At the
Eucharist, the Church comes together to hear the Word of the Lord, to pray for the world's needs, to offer
the sacrifice of the Cross in praise and thanks to God, to receive Christ Jesus in communion, and then to
be sent forth in the Spirit as disciples of the Gospel. If you are not familiar with the Mass, the Order of the Mass can
be found on pages 3-29 of the Breaking Bread hymnal. We call particular attention to the text of the Gloria on page 6
and the Nicene Creed on page 9. The scripture (Bible) readings for today's Mass can be found on pages 209.

Preparing for First Communion
The First Communion curriculum is a two year program
at Holy Family. We require that the children attend
classes in the first grade and then move on to Grade 2
for preparation of First Reconciliation and First Communion. This ensures that our children are fully prepared to receive this Holy Sacrament in May of second
grade. If you have a child entering the first grade and
your family is not already enrolled in our religious education program; please contact Kathy in Religious Education so you can be put on the registration mailing list.
Kathy can be contacted at
[email protected]
or call 978-388-0330. We also have a Kindergarten program for any children interested in attending classes on
Sundays.
Choir Rehearsal
Choir rehearsal will begin on Wednesday,
September 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the upper
church.
If you enjoy singing and would like to sing for the Lord,
why not consider joining the Choir! It is a beautiful and
meaningful ministry that contributes much to the Sunday
liturgy. The choir rehearses every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
and is currently seeking new members in all sections. If
interested in joining, please stop by the Church on any
Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. to speak with the Choir
Director, Peg Doyle.
