GARDENING FOR THE FOOD PANTRY ~ Are you
planting a vegetable garden this year? Please consider
planting a row or two for our Food Pantry. The fresh
produce shelves are the most popular spot in the
pantry. We do our best to keep it stocked but there
never seems to be enough! Once your garden starts to
produce veggies you can drop them off at the Pantry.

gardening & helping others at the same time.

comprehensive response to family homelessness by
collaborating with Social Service agencies and faith
communities. Together they work to provide shelter,

families in securing employment, permanent housing
and lasting independence.

UPDATE ON PARISH LIFE DIRECTOR SEARCH
Last week the Diocesan Chancellor’s Office sent St.
Vincent’s Parish Profile to current Parish Life
Directors, candidates approved for parish leadership,
and religious communities. The application deadline
is June 17.
2016 BISHOP’S APPEAL ~ Our goal for 2016 is
$110,000. Envelopes are in the chairs and entrances of
church. If you haven’t contributed to the Bishop’s Appeal
in awhile or ever, please consider giving this year.
FATHER O’BRIEN CELEBRATES 60 YRS OF
PRIESTLY MINISTRY ~ Please join us on June 4 for
the 5pm Mass and a reception immediately after in the
Parish Hall.
PSALTY SIGN-UPS ARE STARTING! ~ This
summer’s children’s musical at St Vincent’s is "Psalty's
Camping Adventure!" Children ages 3-18 are invited to be
cast members - kids and adults are also needed to help as
crew members. The performance is Thursday August 4, 2016.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays & Thursdays, beginning Tuesday
May 31 at 6:30PM in church. Learn about faith and have
fun along the way! If interested, please email Deb Chard at

PYRAMID LAKE VACATION ~ St. Vincent’s
parishioners will have a chance to spend August 12-19 at
the Pyramid Life Center in the Adirondacks. Cost: $250/
adult; $125/children - 4-12 (free for infants-age 3).
