Using Windows Embedded CE and the brand new Elonex
surfBoard interface, surfing the web, eMailing, messaging and
playing music couldn’t be easier. With a 4 hour battery life,
whether you’re at home or out & about, the all new websurfer
is the best way to stay connected, and is perfect as your first
computer.
The websurfer is small and lightweight and has been built
using ARM processor technology to give a responsive
computing performance. Including FREE SoftMaker Office 2008
you can use the word processor, spreadsheet and presentation
software to create files that are compatible with Microsoft
Office with ease.
surfBoard interface
Your springboard to surfing the web
The websurfer runs Windows Embedded CE software using the brand new
Elonex surfBoard interface. This user friendly and intuitive interface is your
springboard to surfing the internet.
File System. You can access the files and
folders on your websurfer like normal from My
Documents, any USB devices you attach or an
SD card if you insert one. You can also access
the Control Panel which lets you adjust all
aspects of how you use the websurfer and its
settings.
Internet Explorer. Websurfer uses the
popular and familiar browser Internet
Explorer. Facebook, Twitter, View and
bookmark your favourite webpages and
even view embedded flash content
(Note: supports up to flash 9 ie cannot
play Flash 10 YouTube or BBC iPlayer)
Wi-Fi. It couldnt be easier to connect to a
Wireless Internet hotspot whether your at
home or out and about. Using the
straightforward interface connect to open
or password protected hotspots with ease.

eMail and Messenger. Stay connected
with friends and family using the eMail
client which sends and receives POP3 and
SMTP eMails. Keep up with all the latest
gossip and chat live with MSN Messenger
(you’ll need a Hotmail account to do this).
Office
Along with a whole rage of other programs the websurfer comes with SoftMaker Office
for Windows CE pre-installed. It lets you open, edit, and save Microsoft Word, Excel, or
PowerPoint files on your websurfer retaining the formatting, functions, and contents of
your Office files. (not including Office 2007 files)

Multi-language spell-checker. Graphics that can
be anchored to paragraphs, tables, or pages.
