GREEN-E® ENERGY RENEWABLE
Austin Energy’s GreenChoice program is Green-e
energy certified, which means that the program meets
the minimum environmental and consumer protection
standards established by the non-profit Center for
Resource Solutions (CRS).

RATES AND TERMS
SmartCents subscribers sign up for a rate that remains
constant at one cent over the regular Power Supply
Adjustment (PSA) charge and replaces the PSA charge
for as long as the customer chooses to subscribe. For
just a few dollars more per month residential subscribers
can get their energy from clean, sustainable Texas wind
and have the ability to unsubscribe at any time without
penalty.
