AustinRidge MOPS Today’s Speaker: Rob Vires My name is Rob Vires and I work for the Austin Fire Department. I have been blessed with a great career that is 16 years in the making. I am also graced with a wonderful wife, Monica and two beautiful and amazing daughters, Taylor and Madison. With the support of my wife and girls, I am enjoying a successful career and have promoted to the rank of Captain. Currently I get to ride in the big red fire truck that is housed on Balcones Dr. near MoPac and FM 2222. Over the past 16 years I have always worked a 2nd job. My first was as a part-time loading dock person for Montgomery Wards. I was the guy who got to put the big screen TV into the two-door sports car and load refrigerators into Miatas! This is also where I met my blushing bride. I worked a few other part-time jobs before becoming a CPR Instructor. I have been teaching now for over a decade and have loved every moment and blessing it has provided. I look forward to what God has in store for our time together.
