Overcast the edges where the seams will be
sewn with a 4-thread overlock seam or three step
zigzag. Pin and sew the back and side seams on
the skirt, right side together. Press the seams open.
• Fasturn Set ( 412 55 08 -45)
Overcast the upper edge of the skirt and lower
edge of the bodice with a 4-thread overlock seam.
Pin upper edge of the skirt to the lower edge of
bodice, right sides together. Sew in place with a
straight stitch.

Sew the shoulder seams.

Print 7 paper templates in your 4D™ Embroidery
Software of design # 4 that comes with your
DESIGNER TOPAZ™, mirror imaging some of the
designs. Cut out the shapes of the designs. Arrange
the paper designs on the right front skirt and bodiceILLU 2

as illustration or as desired. Start from the top right
bust line and follow the right side of the skirt all the
whole way down to the hem. Also place one design
on the left side bodies. Mark the placement for these
embroideries on the dress.

Do the embroidery on the dress in two steps as
follow in the instruction below:
Continue to finish the dress according to the sewing
instructions in the pattern.
HINT: Use the Fasturn tube turner to turn the ties for the
dress right side out.
