Bob McGray is an ordained minister and children’s evangelist with
the United Pentecostal Church International. He has also served as
a pastor, presbyter, and Sunday school director in the district of
Connecticut. He is a graduate of Gateway College of Evangelism in
St. Louis, Missouri, and currently serves as Gateway’s institutional
advancement director. He is the father of two grown children and
has two grandchildren. He and his wife, Joani, currently reside in
Nashville, Tennessee.

PREAMBLE
The Children’s Ministry Association is an association of children’s evangelists and teacher training ministers recommended by the General Sunday School Division of the United Pentecostal
Church International for the purpose of promoting children’s ministry by organizing interaction
between ministers, by increasing ministry opportunities, and by providing encouragement and
ministry enhancement. Membership with the association will be renewed every four years and
will require the recommendation of the minister's district superintendent and pastor. If a pastor’s recommendation is not applicable, the presbyter’s recommendation will be required.

FOREWORD
As doctors, scientists, and educators learn more about the human brain and
the development of childhood intelligence, they are proving the Word of God
to be true. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he
will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). The more we learn the more we realize the importance of the childhood years. Even though children come into
the world pre-wired in many ways, their behavior and mindset are greatly influenced by their environment.
Children need to hear biblical preaching and teaching on a level they can understand. They need someone who can reach them before they are contaminated
by worldly philosophies. God instructed the Hebrews to tend to this urgent need
by teaching His law to their children. “And these words, which I command thee
this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy
children” (Deuteronomy 6:7).
This directory will help you more effectively reach the children under your
care. We have a number of men and women who have dedicated themselves to
this ministry. Bringing these evangelists to minister in your church will provide
the impetus needed to evangelize your children. The teacher training instructors
will provide exhortation, inspiration, training, and modeling to assist your staff
to be more effective in reaching all ages with the wonderful Word of God. Some
in this directory do evangelism as well as teacher training.

Joe and Autumn approach children’s ministry with a passion. They use high energy action songs, preaching, teaching, multi-media, and street services. They
have served as children’s pastors as well as evangelists; preaching kids camps,
crusades, rallies, camp meetings, VBS, and revivals.

Part Time
Nature of Evangelistic Ministry: T.O.E.J.A.M. Ministries (Totally, Outstanding, Exciting, Jesus, and Me)
uses wild puppets, zany object lessons, interactive storytelling, fun audience participation, music and
motion, and wacky games. Their ultimate goal is to see children and parents filled with the Holy Ghost and
have a relationship with Jesus Christ. They have conducted several children’s revivals. They have led
evening worship at Iowa District Sunday School Camp and played a major role in most SS Camp Services.
They have been active in Iowa District Conference morning children’s church. They also minister in their
home church during Sunday school and mid-week children’s church.
