Becky Huber Jehn: In Feb 2009, I com‐
pleted the MTI residency program and obtained my manual therapy certifica‐
tion. This spring I passed the OCS ex‐
amination and this fall I will complete my hours for FAAOMPT. I still run an outpatient clinic for Concentra and I volunteer as the Clinic Director for the State of Ohio Special Olympics FunFit‐
ness program. I got married April 10, 2010! We live in Ft. Mitchell, KY. 1998
Amy J. (Arnold) Baker: Sean Baker, green class, and I settled in Dartmouth, MA with our 3 boys. Sean is multi‐site manager for Kindred, and I work part‐
time in an outpatient clinic. Robert Niklewicz : I work in patient care at the Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, CA. I also am a consultant for ERGOCATION LLC, a lecturer for the Back School of Atlanta and an Associate Professor at UCSF. I wrote my first novel in 2008, “The Last Train to Da‐
chau.” It is available on Amazon.com. My second novel will be out 2011. 1999
Scott Champagne: I treated patients this past February in Haiti following the earthquake. I am returning in August to Jacmel, Haiti to treat patients and work in a collaborative effort to establish sus‐
tainable rehab facilities within the coun‐
try. Tim Dorion: My wife Sandy, who is also a PT, and daughter, Grace, 5‐years‐old, live in Hilton Head Island, SC. We have update

Kristie Harris Culpepper: My husband, Brett, and I welcomed our first child, Reid Oakley Culpepper, on June 9, 2010. He weighed 7lb, 9oz and was 21.5 inches long! Shana Harrington: I presented a portion of my dissertation at CSM in San Diego and was nominated chair for the Physi‐
cally Challenged Athlete SIG. While in Athens, Greece, I was promoted to a Paralympics Medical Classifier and am the only American who has ever achieved this status. I will also be travel‐
ing to Guangzhou, China in December for the Asian Para Games. Matt Walker: I am currently in Merid‐
ian, ID and own One‐on‐One Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopaedic practice. My wife Dana and I have five kids, two boys and three girls, ages two to 12. Nancy (Klipper) Wolfson: In February, between two blizzards, we excitedly welcomed our second son, Adam Jared, to our family. He joins big brother, Joshua, who is now four. I'm loving working part time at a sub‐acute rehab facility in Silver Spring, MD. 2001

ment of Defense as Chief of Orthopedics and Rehabilitative Services on a US Army base in Vicenza, Italy. My wife, three children, and I have lived in Italy since 2005 and enjoy traveling Europe together. Jeanne (Ross) Eichler: I joined the OSOT faculty at St Louis University this year and have enjoyed my job, which com‐

tice in Gainesville, FL in 2007 and moved to Memphis, TN to be near grandchil‐
dren in 2009. I am now certified in GY‐
ROTONIC®, GYROKINESIS® and Pilates. I am working part‐time in a physi‐
cian's office with my personal equip‐
ment, including a Cobra tower, and combo trapeze and reformer. I work 12 hours, two days a week with clients, primarily those with spi‐
nal diagnoses. My primary accomplish‐
ment has been the publication and copyright of a training manual entitled Graduated Guided Movement for physi‐
cal therapists. It has been approved for CEU's in FL and soon in TN. Joanne Moore: I recently volunteered at Nepal Orphans Home in Kathmandu, Nepal. I identified children with special needs, developed treatment plans, and trained local volunteers to carry out the plans. I also found a carpenter who could build walkers out of bamboo. 2003
Sharon Burgess: I'm now a traveling PT, finishing 13 weeks in Las Vegas working in long‐term acute care, and visiting national parks and the strip. Now I'm in East San Francisco Bay in Home Health, enjoying the city but not the traffic! Carrie (Poston) Gilbert: I am pleased to announce the birth of my first child, Steven Brion Gilbert. I am also pleased to announce that I have been promoted to Program Manager for Genesis Rehab in a long‐term care facility in Madison, IN. I continue to practice both OT and PT on a daily basis and am enjoying the flexibility of having the Dual Degree. Alfredo Z. Montoya: In May 2010, I was selected by the Consejo Nacional de Fisiotherapia as Director over all veteri‐
narian physical therapy in the Mexican province of Yuahaca. I just concluded research on muscle spindle reaction time in the calf muscles of one‐year‐old mice. I hope to submit soon for peer review in the American Journal of Physi‐
cal Therapy and soon after launch with two other colleagues a chain of research academies across Central America fi‐
nanced by a generous grant from the USDA, the National Academy of Science, and seed money from the World Bank. Kenneth T. Nakasone: I am a PT Super‐
visor for Hawaii Physical Therapy and Elam Sports, Oahu, a Long‐Term Athlete Development Coordinator at Maryknoll School, a lecturer at University of Ha‐

gan Royalty Kiernan, to the world on April 14, 2010. Nikki (Gordon) Pollack: I am currently working in Atlanta, GA in Gwinnett County Public Schools full time with pre‐
k to high school students with special needs. On the side, I just took at job at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in the acute care rehab department. I abso‐
lutely love it there. I am married to a professor and have a beautiful 21‐
month‐old daughter. Evangeline Yoder: I married JT Cutler and retired from teaching in 2005. 2005
Jarod Carter: I recently started my own practice in Austin, TX, Carter Physiother‐
apy, which has had a great start. I've been able to avoid taking insurance, so I'm able to spend a full hour with each patient and focus primarily on Manual Therapy. Life is good. Robin Giles: I am currently still working for Moreau Physical Therapy outside of Baton Rouge, LA as a clinical director. Harpa Helgadóttir: For the last four years, I have been in the PhD program at the University of Iceland and submit‐
ted my PhD thesis in May 2010. The name of the project is: Investigation of the stability system of the scapula in patients with cervical spine disorders. Assessment of scapular orientation and recruitment of the scapular stability muscles in patients with insidious onset neck pain and whiplash associated disor‐
der. I intend to defend the project in October 2010. Kelly Kuluz: Last month I passed the CHT test, earning the distinction of be‐
ing a Certified Hand Therapist. I will also be getting married in April 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. Debra Myhr: I am living in Rome, GA, which is in‐between Atlanta and Chatta‐
nooga. I am working in an Outpatient PT facility in Cedartown, GA doing PT and OT. Enjoying the ability to utilize both of my degrees. Jen (Faucher) Patterson: We had a baby girl in April. Lyla Grace Patterson, was born on Good Friday. Lisa (Morley) Quintana: I am currently working for Primary Children's Medical Center Outpatient Rehab in Utah. I work with children of all ages and all ability levels. I got married in August of 2009 and am looking forward to starting my own family. 2006
Heidi Cowee: Mark and I are expecting our first child, a boy, to be delivered around August 21st in Las Vegas, NV, where we have been living for the past 3 years. We will also be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this August. Bryan M. Davis: I am working in Grand‐

Mark and Angie (Schnell) Bech: We are settled in Louisiana now and are expect‐
ing our first child, a little girl, in Septem‐
ber! We are both currently working in home health, covering rural communi‐
ties in SW Louisiana. Darren W Hearn: Laura, Owen, and I are in Wake Forest, NC keeping very busy. Owen is 18 months old, Laura is finishing up her dietitian work, and I am working at the VA in Durham and also serving in the US Army Reserve. Clay Holland: Jill and I celebrated the birth of our second child, Everett Cath‐
erine Holland, on 12/10/09. She was 9lb, 3oz and 21.5 inches long. I also just passed the OCS exam. Kendra (Mack) Kennedy: I have been working and living in Anacortes, WA since June 2007. We are in the middle of a temporary move to Jacksonville, FL. I am happily married to my hus‐
band, Kevin, and we have two beautiful girls: Mia, 2 and Megan, 3 weeks. Ashley (Moser) Lumpkins: I will be cele‐
brating 3 years of marriage on Sept 29! We live in St Augustine and I work in home health for Gentiva. Kim (Stoer) Myers: Josh and I welcomed baby Jack Myers into the world on June 17, 2010. He was 8lbs 11oz and 21 inches long. Julia Pierce: I have worked in the field of brain injury rehabilitation in both Florida and Michigan. I currently work at the Origami Brain Injury Rehab Center in Mason, MI where I sub‐specialize in the areas of cognitive rehabilitation, vision therapy and driving programs. Kelly Quaal Atwell: I got married on June 11, 2010 in Rapid City, SD to Brian Atwell. We live in Ft. Worth, TX. I work full‐
time as a Senior PT/OT in OP and Brian is a Geologist for a local energy com‐

Jamie (Boersma) Andrews: I just fin‐
ished a six‐month outpatient contract at Tillamook Hospital in Oregon. While in Oregon, Jeremy and I got married. I hope to find a contract along Chesa‐
peake Bay when we return from our honeymoon in Tuscany. Adrian (Spencer) Bland: My incredible husband and I had our beautiful, healthy, baby girl, Nichole Catelynn Bland, on April 21st of this year! We will continue to live in Boston, MA until May of next year, when my husband, Nich, graduates from Tufts Dental. I am soon returning to work at a local SNF and loving the parenting adventure! Christina (Wagner) Broome: My husband and I are enjoying our new home in Northwest GA! I continue to learn and grow as a PT, and appreciate my school‐
ing from USA. Kathleen Golisz: I was recently promoted to the rank of full professor. I teach in the Mercy College Occupational Therapy Graduate Program in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Jennifer (Stanley) Gordon: I am living in Tallahassee with my husband, Danny, and enjoy utilizing my dual licenses at a rehab center in town. However, Danny graduates medical school in May and it will be an adventure to see where we move next! K. Michelle Knewstep‐Watkins: My hus‐
band, Spencer, and I recently relocated to Charlottesville, VI where I accepted a new position as an OT at the University of Virginia Hospital. I am currently working in acute care on the surgery and burn service. Jason Steere: I am now working at a mul‐
tidiscipline clinic in downtown Seattle. I am involved in a fellowship in manual therapy with Evidence In Motion and am a clinical instructor on the University of Puget Sound campus clinic. Amanda Whitman: I am an outpatient physical therapist at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Amanda specializes in urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and manual therapy interventions. I love my job and will begin to tackle the OCS certi‐

Christopher Bolen: I am in the United States Navy and am the Director of the John Bradley Branch Clinic, Quantico, VA. We support the Marine Corps Officer Candidates School and The Basic School at Marine Corps Base Quantico in VA, as well as treat all active duty military mem‐
bers. Easily the best treatment setting imaginable. Taylor (Hamilton) Bushnell: Enjoying a challenging environment in outpatient at MGH Chelsea. I treat a diverse, primar‐
ily orthopedic, population while being introduced to different cultures and relig‐
ions. Recently my clinical treat‐
ment consists of complex spine and lower extremity patients. Katie Cushanick: I am working on my MD degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine David J. Dunham: My wife and I are ex‐
pecting our 5th child on September 16. We are having a little girl, Caroline. Jennifer Benoit James: I am currently working in a private PT owned clinic in Boynton Beach, FL and living in Deerfield Beach, FL. Since graduation, I have got‐
ten married and have done some travel‐
ing between working. I enjoy the clinic that I work in and love touching the lives of the patients that I work with helping them improve their dysfunctions. Frank Layman: I am working toward dry needling, aka intramuscular mobilization certification, to bring more to my spe‐
cialty of manual therapy to Rehab Asso‐
ciates of Central Virginia, where I am an owner and site manager. My profes‐
sional goals are to round out the skills I acquired at USA to better serve my pa‐
tients. I am a pilot and I have also been working on my Commercial and Multi‐ engine certifications. I fly regularly to FL and recently flew into the airfield in St Augustine, the city is as pretty from the air as the ground. Katherine Ann Lefrid: Currently work‐
ing in the acute care setting for Florida Hospital Orlando campus and working towards becoming a Women's Health specialist. Lisa Magarill‐Hillman: I have been prac‐
ticing manual therapy techniques for years and am finally getting "the touch." Christina Muth: Thoroughly enjoying my work as a traveling therapist! Cur‐
rently in southern Texas in a pediatric outpatient clinic, loving the work and the challenge peds presents. Plan to con‐
tinue traveling west to experience more settings and more of the world! Steve Sananikone: I have been practic‐
ing in the Fort Walton Beach, FL area in the outpatient/acute care setting. I just recently became engaged to my beauti‐
ful fiancée, Airiel Hill, who will be gradu‐
ating from USA this coming August. We will then be hitting the road to do some travelling, then hopefully go into private practice somewhere down the road. Tammi Sheppard: I am now a traveling physical therapist currently located in Northern California. Kristin Tudisco: I have returned to Bos‐
ton, MA and am currently employed with Harvard Vanguard Medical Asso‐
ciates in their outpatient PT depart‐
ment, located next to Fenway Park. I was pleased to bump into Dr. Paris and Dr. Patla at the APTA conference in Boston this June. Amy Wakabayashi: After PT gradua‐
tion, it has been a whirlwind. I got engaged, passed the boards, and moved to Pasadena, where I currently work at Huntington Hospital and op‐
erate my own PT business at a sports medicine facility. Jeff Wencel: I'm working in outpatient orthopedics in Joliet, IL for Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. I'm also work‐
ing on another degree outside of the field of physical therapy, an MA in biblical exegesis at Wheaton Col‐
lege, to be completed in 2012. 2010

My wife, Kathleen, and daughters Aislynn and Avery, are currently still residing in Charleston, SC. Kamal Mody: Continuing w/ running my private practice. Trying to increase my involvement and awareness of health care reform issues. Increasing outreach to my local community. Johan Otter: I will present the case study that I did for my Capstone 2 project at CSM in New Orleans in 2011 as part of the complicated pa‐
tient series for the Sports medicine section. My capstone 2 was on return‐
ing a marathon runner back to previ‐
