DAY 1: ATHENS

led to a guided Athens sightseeing tour to the House of Parliament,
the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Olympian Zeus
Temple, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, the University, the
National Library, the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Erectheion, the Temple

DAY 3: ATHENS / AEGINA - POROS - HYDRA
Morning transfer to Piraeus port to embark the cruise ship for the full
day cruise to Aegina - Poros - Hydra islands, lunch on board. Return to

DAY 4: ATHENS / DELPHI
A full day tour to the Archaeological site of Delphi that was believed to

SATURDAY: KUSADASI (TURKEY) / PATMOS
Next port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi with the option to visit
Ephesus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then
on to the island of Patmos, where participating in the optional tour,
you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery and the Grotto of

Olympic Games were born, passing by Tripolis and Megalopolis towns.

In the morning you will visit the Archaeological site with the Sanctuary of
Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum.
Then you will be driven by the plains of Heliad and Achaia till you reach
the impressive bridge which connects Rion to Antirion. On the way you
will have the opportunity to take a glimpse on the picturesque towns

Visit the archaeological site of Delphi known in antiquity as the center

At 07:00 a.m., the ship arrives at Kos, the birthplace of the father
of medicine, Hippocrates, who was born there around 460 BC and
founded the Great School of Medicine of Kos. Since Prehistoric times
was an important maritime route that began in the Black Sea and
continued along the coast of Asia Minor and the Aegean Islands,
reaching North Africa. Departure at 06:00 p.m.

In the morning we arrive at Ios island. At 02:30 p.m., we continue
to the most beautiful island of Aegean Sea, Santorini. Because of
some excavations, believe that Santorini might be the place of the lost

DAY 1: THESSALONIKI

DAY 2: THESSALONIKI
Day at leisure. Thessaloniki is the second largest city of Greece, built
near the sea is a modern metropolis bearing the marks of its stormy
history. Visit the center of the city, Aristotelous Square the city’s most
central square boasting monumental mansions, White Tower is the
city’s landmark, Palace of Galerius, the Ancient Agora.
DAY 3: THESSALONIKI / VERGINA / DION / LARISSA
A car will be delivered to the hotel in the morning and you can start
your journey toward Vergina (78 km), the legendary burial site of the
Macedonian kings. This site is considered a World Heritage Site, it is
also known for the Royal Tombs and houses and the tomb of King Philip
II, father of Alexander the Great. Continue driving until Dion (74 km
from Vergina) which was the “sacred place” of the Macedonians. Since
ancient times, a great altar was created for the worship of Zeus and his
daughters, the Muses, in a unique environment, characterized by rich
vegetation, tall trees, numerous springs and a navigable river. The last
stretch is to Larissa (76 km from Dion), which is one of the main centers
of agriculture.
DAY 4: LARISSA / METEORA (83 km)
In the morning, departure to Kalambaka and visit Meteora which is one
of the largest and most important complex of monasteries in Eastern
Christianity, second only to Mount Athos. The six monasteries are built
on sandstone rock pillars. More than 20 monasteries were built, but
nowadays there are only six: Megalos meteors (or Great Meteoro
Monastery of Transfiguration), Varlaam, Agios Stephanos (St. Stephen),
Agia Triada (Trinity), and St. Nicholas Anapausas Roussanou. The
region is considered a world heritage site by UNESCO.
